Blogging has grown to become a hobby for many web enthusiasts throughout the world. For many, blogging has actually become a way to earn a full-time income. While the vast majority of bloggers do not set out to earn money through blogging, it has become increasingly realistic for dedicated bloggers to make some decent money through their blogging efforts. While I am by no means a professional blogger, I am very interested in the idea of being able to earn money while pursuing one’s passion.

For all of you bootstrappers out there, I wanted to share a fairly new blog that I think is a great resource. The blog is called The Netsetter and it is written by Collis Ta’eed. In case you haven’t heard of him, Collis started and runs a network of successful niche blogs including FreelanceSwitch.com, PSDTUTS.com, NETTUTS.com, AETUTS.com, VECTORTUTS.com, as well as several others through his startup business, Envato.

Just Launched My New Wordpress Theme

I have had a web site for several years. The main purpose of my original web site was to promote my freelance work. A few months ago, I decided to retire my original site for a few reasons such as branding, business scope, and because I have chosen to take on a few new web projects. So, I decided I would create a new web site that would serve as my personal web presence.

A Great Resource for Freelancers of All Shapes and Sizes

Late in 2007, I came across the website FreelanceSwitch.com. I was looking for resources and more information about freelance website and graphic design. There are numerous resources on the Internet, however, I was really drawn to FreelanceSwitch.com. I think what got me at first was the website’s design. I’m a sucker for good design. If a website is not designed well, I will not stick around. However, after visiting the site a few times, I realized that the writers were providing quality content in addition to the nice user interface design.
