For all of you bootstrappers out there, I wanted to share a fairly new blog that I think is a great resource. The blog is called The Netsetter and it is written by Collis Ta’eed. In case you haven’t heard of him, Collis started and runs a network of successful niche blogs including FreelanceSwitch.com, PSDTUTS.com, NETTUTS.com, AETUTS.com, VECTORTUTS.com, as well as several others through his startup business, Envato.

The Netsetter

The Netsetter is a blog that covers web startups and web businesses from the perspective of a web entrepreneur. Collis states the following about why he started The Netsetter, “I started this blog because I love talking about startups, marketing, and business online. With the barriers to starting your own online business getting lower and lower, there’s a growing class of online entrepeneurs that I sometimes call the net set, kinda like that old term the jet set – which doesn’t make much sense any more, now that I think about it. From that term came the name of this blog, because I hope that you dear reader are a fellow netsetter!”

Written By An Experienced Expert

One of the greatest features of the blog is that it is written by a true visionary who has truly “been there, done that.” As mentioned above, Collis Ta’eed has created and runs several web startups and businesses. Each of his sites are quite successful and I have been a frequent reader of several of them for the better part of the last year. Each of the Envato sites I visit has been a tremendous asset to me as a web designer/blogger/entrepreneur who hopes to one day run his own business.

A Great Resource

The Netsetter is a great site and a great resource for anyone looking to start a blog or web business whether it be part-time or full-time. So, I wanted to take a few minutes to post about this in order to help spread the word.
